- Radiant Opto-Electronics Corporation Honored with the 2025 TSAA Taiwan Sustainability Action Award-Gold Award
Radiant Opto-Electronics Corporation, under the theme “That Heart-Stirring Moment when Finding Their Light - A Gentle Path to Equality for Children with ADHD”, has been awarded the Gold Award in the 2025 Taiwan Sustainability Action Awards, hosted by the TAISE. This initiative aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal SDG10 , recognizing ROE long-term efforts in advocating for equity and inclusion within the ADHD community.
This year’s TSAA received 503 project submissions, representing a 12.2% increase compared with 2024. In collaboration with the Radiant Education Foundation, Radiant Opto-Electronics Corporation has been committed to advancing diverse sustainability initiatives that contribute to a better quality of life in Taiwan.
Since 2018, Radiant has continuously championed equal opportunities for children with ADHD, partnering with the association of 台灣心動家族兒童青少年關懷協會 to better understand and respond to the needs of ADHD families. Through dedicated lectures, exclusive events, and Taiwan’s first and only scholarship program tailored to ADHD students, Radiant has fostered respect for diversity and nurtured a more inclusive society. The company firmly believes that visibility is the first step toward understanding, and only through understanding can true equity be achieved.
To date, the Foundation has organized 13 ADHD parenting lectures (with 1,259 participants) and 12 ADHD parent-child events (with 1,314 participants). ADHD Families have also been welcomed into Radiant’s annual Family Day, alongside pioneering initiatives such as “Noise-Friendly Movie Day” and “Wind Music Day,” designed specifically for ADHD children.
In 2021, Radiant launched Taiwan’s first scholarship exclusively for ADHD students. Unlike traditional awards, selection is based not on academic performance but on children’s unique talents and interests, reflecting a strengths-based approach. To date, 105 students have applied, 59 have been awarded, and more than NT$400,000 in scholarships have been granted.
Further expanding its impact, in 2024 Radiant partnered with the association of 愛自造者學習協會 to introduce the “Special Education Classroom” program. By incorporating coding and digital literacy, the initiative equips special education children with new skills and pathways for growth.
Radiant’s long-standing commitment to supporting the ADHD community reflects its vision of becoming a reliable partner for children with special needs and their families. Together with employees and NGO partners, Radiant will continue to leverage corporate influence to drive meaningful change.Supporting ADHD children is like running a marathon measured not in kilometers, but in life stages. While Radiant may not be able to accompany them for the entire journey, it is committed to running alongside them for as far as it can.
