Mosaic murals were used to decorate The Land of Fish and Fruit

Continuing its collaboration with the "Home From Above," this initiative reached its southernmost base school, Qiao DeElementary School in Fangliao—renowned as the Land of Fish and Fruit. The students chose to document the creative journey of mosaic artist Willie Tai, who has long been in residence at the Fangliao Art Village, capturing his story of dedicating his passion for mosaic art to his hometown.Through the process of learning documentary filmmaking, the students explore their emotional connection to and identity with their hometown, while developing media literacy and skills in using technological tools. In Where Is Wei-Li?, their sincerity is evident as they transform what they see into a documentary that reflects a deep bond with their hometown.
