Qian-Cao Music Transformation Project

Since 2018, Radiant has partnered with Kaohsiung City Wind Orchestra, bringing countless families and children to their first experiences in concert halls or listen ing to wind music through the Rooting Concerts and Music Footprints projects. In 2025, we joined like-minded arts partners to launch the Qian-Cao edition of the Music Transformation Project, safeguarding this shared precious vision and lever aging our respective strengths to create positive social impact. This year, 20 music companion classes were launched, starting in the Cianjhen District, providing musical resources to children from disadvantaged families. Through these courses and the allocation of music resources, children have the opportunity to engage with music, fostering transformative potential in their lives.

Environmental Dance TheaterSolar Site Dance Theatre

The foundation’s arts and culture engagement team encom passes music and theater. In 2025, it collaborated for the first time with Solar Site Dance Theatre, a deeply rooted Kaohsi ung organization also recognized internationally, supporting the site-specific dance theater “TELL ME YOUR STORY”, which explores themes of “regional marginalization,” “cultural limita tions,” “cultural understanding,” and “cultural equity.” The per formance chose local historic sites in the mountain town of Liougui, namely Hong Kun-yuan Trading Company and Ikedaya, as its venues.The performance invites dancers and students to break free from the boundaries of location, iden tity, and age. Through dance and music, they exchange life experiences and childhood memories, creating a collective narrative in which youth and memories intertwine in a unique environmental dance piece.

In 2025, the Radiant Education Foundation was awarded the Arts Education Contribution Award – Outstanding Group Award by the Ministry of Education, recognizing the founda tion’s long-term dedication to southern Taiwan and its out standing achievements in promoting arts education with innovation and a spirit of sustainability. This accolade also sets a commendable example of public-private collaboration between the corporate, educational, and cultural sectors. The award-winning project, “Harnessing Light in the South to Illuminate the Arts”, implements arts education systematically through three key directions: preserving traditions, supporting innovation, and nurturing literacy. Moving forward, the Radi ant Opto-Electronics Education Foundation will continue to invest in arts education with a corporate sustainability mind set, deepening the public-private collaboration model, so that art becomes not just a spectacle on stage, but a lasting light rooted in the community and illuminating society.
