Highlight Cases

Radiant Opto-Scholarship Seeing the uniquely one-of-a-kind

Radiant Opto-Scholarship focused on elementary-school children with ADHD in Kaohsiung, Pingtung,Penghu, and Taitung, encouraging the children and aiming to observe how parents accompanied, supported, and guided their children in the process of identifying their strengths.
Beginning in 2021, the Radiant Education Foundation administered the "Radiant Opto-Scholarship" for 5 consecutive years. The scholarship was dedicated to children with ADHD. Total awards exceeded NT$550,000. The program identified the strengths of 168 children with ADHD and, in the process of fostering and revealing those strengths, also highlighted parents’ dedication and hard work in supporting their children. The Foundation valued the developmental process behind each highlight, as this most authentically demonstrated the value of a child’s strengths. Radiant will continue to remain at their side, accompanying children on their journey to discover their distinctive qualities and illuminating their path.

The thrill of encountering amoment of brilliance Honored with the Gold Award at the Taiwan Sustainable Action Awards.

Radiant Opto-Electronics, with the motto “The thrill of encountering a moment of brilliance,” aligned its initiatives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals SDGs 10 to promote equal rights for the ADHD community. It was honored with the Gold Award at the TSAA, organized by TAISE. The Radiant Education Foundation continued to collaborate with Radiant Opto-Electronics, using diverse sustainable development actions to create a better life for Taiwan society. Since 2018, Radiant has been committed to advancing equality for individuals with ADHD. In collaboration with the Taiwan Heartbeat Family Association for Children and Adolescents, the Company explores the needs of ADHD families through seminars, dedicated ADHD activities, and Taiwan’s only ADHD scholar ship, aiming to promote public awareness, respect, and understanding—turning differences into strengths. ADHD families are also considered an extension of Radiant’s own employees and their families, invited to participate in the “Radiant Family Day,” and the Company pioneered the "Noise-Friendly Movie Day" and "Wind Ensemble Day" activities. Beginning in 2024, Radiant also partnered with the Program the World Association to launch the "Special Education Acade my," using coding education and technology literacy to support children in spe cial education, opening up new possibilities for their development. Advancing equality for children with ADHD has long been a focus and commit ment of Radiant. We will continue to leverage the combined efforts of our em ployees and nonprofit partners to maximize the Company’s positive impact. Although accompanying a child with ADHD was comparable to running a mara thon measured over a lifetime, Radiant may not have been able to complete the entire course; she hoped only to accompany the child for a portion of the journey.

"Passion and Excellence, Thirty Years of Light" Charity Blood DonationEvent

The Kaohsiung Science and Technology Industrial Park hosts biannual blood donation events, which have been held continu ously since 2011. Over 15 years, 29 sessions have been organized, with a total of 4,239 donors contributing 6,092 bags of blood, amounting to 1,523,000 c.c. In 2025, in celebration of its 30th anniversary, Radiant offered an additional gift to blood donors—a sustainability-themed “seed ball” containing a variety of native flower and plant seeds. Beyond donating blood, participants could take home a symbol of care and greenery, allowing life to continue through their generosity and the land to flourish through planting. This gift not only conveys appreciation to donors, but also represents a heartfelt blessing for Radiant Opto-Electronics—honoring its 30 years of deep roots in Taiwan and its vision for the future on the global stage. The foundation, in partnership with Radiant Opto-Electronics, takes a leading role in organizing blood donation events. ESG principles are embedded in the procurement of event give aways, amplifying the social impact of these charitable initia tives through concrete actions.
