Co-hosted by the Gangdu Tech 33 Club, the Shunfa Charity Sports Association, and Shunfa Computer Co., Ltd., the 2025 RUN FOR FUTURE 4th Annual Shunfa × Kaohsiung Charity Run was held with great enthusiasm on April 20 at the Kaohsiung National Stadium. The event successfully attracted 5,464 runners from 20 countries and regions across Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America.Staying true to its founding mission of donating all surplus funds to support disadvantaged children in Kaohsiung, this year’s event raised a total surplus of NT$1,738,328, which was entirely donated to 17 legally registered local institutions providing care and shelter to children and youth in need.

These included:

• 12 residential care institutions, such as the Kaohsiung Red Cross Children's Home, Jingjue Buddhist Orphanage, Christian Mountain Orphanage, Angel Home, and others;

• 2 group homes, and

• 3 foster families.

All funds will be used exclusively to support children’s living needs, education, and facility improvements—helping them grow in a loving environment and face the future with confidence and hope. This year’s event was supported by over 40 co-organizing and sponsoring companies, and more than 40 business leaders, including chairpersons and general managers, were invited as guest lead runners. The race featured 21 km, 10 km, 5 km, and walking divisions, catering to participants of all ages and fitness levels. The event kicked off with a dynamic warm-up led by the WingStars cheer squad from Taiwan Steel Group, who also joined the 5K run in uniform—becoming a highlight of the day. We extend heartfelt thanks to all co-organizers, sponsors, and brand partners; to media and social media supporters who helped promote the event; to the businesses and community groups who joined as teams; and especially to every individual who contributed behind the scenes.

Most importantly, thank you to each and every participant—because of your dedication and support, Run for Future became a day filled with love, energy, and lasting impact.
