Inheritance can be expected and sustainable progress Radiant Opto-Electronics has won the HBR "Top 100 Taiwan Business Leaders" for three consecutive years
Radiant Opto-Electronics Corporation | 2024-07-31
Published by Vision World Culture, the prestigious "Harvard Business Review" (HBR) global Traditional Chinese version will hold the fifth "Taiwan Business Leaders 100" selection in 2024. Founder and Honorary Chairman of Radiant Opto-Electronics Wang Benran has been on the list for three consecutive years, and Wang Yuchao, chairman of Radiant Opto-Electronics, received the award, which symbolizes the cultural heritage of Radiant Opto-Electronics and the spirit of generational change.

The "Top 100 Taiwanese Business Leaders" conducted by the global traditional Chinese version of Harvard Business Review follows the survey methods of the American English version of the world's top 100 CEOs and is localized in Taiwan. Now it has become the largest and only one in Taiwan. A performance survey of individual performance of leaders in Taiwanese listed companies.

Harvard Business Review stated that the survey has been conducted every two years since 2016, and this year has entered its fifth year. Starting from 2022, the survey and evaluation will specially add ESG items to select the 100 best Taiwan listed companies that have long-term led corporate performance. Strong business leaders.

Harvard Business Review considers that ESG has become an important international and Taiwanese subject in recent years. Starting from the fourth session in 2022, in addition to financial indicators, it will also include ESG ratings. The final calculation method is based on the two aspects of "financial aspect" and "ESG rating" of each business leader during his tenure, and the final overall score is calculated and ranked accordingly. The fifth session in 2024 will still be selected based on this principle.

The calculation method is to combine two major domestic indicators, including the "Corporate Governance Assessment" implemented by the Securities and Futures Market Development Foundation and the "Taiwan Sustainability Assessment" of the National Taipei University, and convert the scores according to the assessment grade range, and refer to the two other indicators. The calculation is based on international ESG indicators (Sustainalytics and FTSE Russell ESG) to comply with the international trend of companies assuming ESG responsibilities.
