The Company continues to enhance its vigilance in data protection, committed to reducing the risk of information leakage.  Radiant Opto-Electronics takes an active approach to safeguarding the confidential information of its customers, suppliers, and partners. In accordance with the Trade Secrets Act, the Company has established the Confidential Information Management Measures to effectively protect its confidential data. The Company strikes a balance between "strict protection" and "paperless management," systematically managing information on a regular basis to reduce labor costs and improve control effectiveness.

In terms of information security, all terminal devices accessing the Company's premises are subjected to the Information Technology Department's network access control system, which identifies internal network devices and blocks unidentified external devices. This proactive, real-time, and automated detection of abnormal events within the Company's network guarantees the security of confidential data. In 2024, Radiant Opto-Electronics did not receive any complaints regarding the protection of confidential information, nor were there any incidents of confidential data leakage.

Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy

Radiant Opto-Electronics places great importance on personal data protection, establishing internal management regulations for privacy rights and personal data protection policies, requiring strict adherence to relevant legal regulations when collecting, processing, and handling personal information. Furthermore, Radiant Opto-Electronics pledges never to disclose the personal data of data subjects to third parties or use it for purposes other than those for which it was collected.

To implement risk management for personal data processing, we conduct an annual review and assessment of current policies. Employees and external parties can file personal data complaints through relevant reporting channels. In 2024, Radiant Opto-Electronics did not use collected personal data for purposes other than the originally specified ones, and no related complaints or penalties were received.

Customer Privacy Protection Policy

Protecting the personal privacy of customers and suppliers is a crucial aspect of gaining and maintaining trust with stakeholders. The Company is committed to upholding privacy rights, safeguarding personal data, and ensuring information security.

• In terms of administrative management, employees are bound by strict confidentiality obligations outlined in the Employee Confidentiality Agreement. This includes maintaining the secrecy of confidential information to the best of their abilities and taking necessary measures to protect sensitive data belonging to company clients, suppliers, etc., during their tenure.

• Technical Aspect of Information Security: Due to the nature of Radiant Opto-Electronics' industry, which is not involved in e-commerce or the financial sector that requires the storage of large volumes of customer information, there is no need to obtain personal data protection certification to gain customer recognition. However, Radiant Opto-Electronics continues to implement robust information security solutions, including firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners at the physical, network, and system levels. This approach ensures a high level of information security protection, significantly reducing the risk of personal data leakage.
