Radiant Education Foundation promotes ocean education and fosters marine conservation through the picture book ''Come and Play''.

Located within the Kaohsiung Qianzhen Technology Industrial Park, the Radiant Education Foundation has been actively advancing environmental education in recent years, with a particular focus on ocean-related issues. Since 2022, the Foundation has partnered with the Kaohsiung Dandelion Reading Promotion Association and its affiliated nonprofit bookstore, Little House Bookstore, to organize "Picture Book Workshops" each summer. These workshops, designed specifically for early childhood educators, focus on "ocean-themed picture books." The Foundation also selects 16 sustainable ocean-related picture books for the event. In 2024, Radiant's first-ever ocean-themed picture book, Come and Play, Come and Play, was added to the collection. The goal is to inspire teachers to integrate ocean protection and picture book themes into their curricula, spreading the spirit of "Loving the Ocean" back to the classrooms. Through skilled and knowledgeable educators, these teachings are shared with young children, inspiring them to incorporate ocean conservation actions into their daily lives. This allows the concept of ocean sustainability to take root from the very beginning and to flourish.

Entering its third year, the Ocean Picture Book Workshop combines the debut picture book Come and Play, Come and Play to shine a spotlight on the often-overlooked transitional zone between land and sea—"the lagoon." The theme of this year's workshop centers on this topic. A total of 25 kindergartens and 44 teachers from the Kaohsiung-Pingtung area participated in the training. The trained teachers then brought the program into schools, implementing 25 diverse "Loving the Ocean" initiatives across different educational fields. Through activities such as community engagement, wetland observations, and parent-child reading sessions, the campaign touched the lives of over 3,000 individuals.
