Radiant Opto-Electronics Corporation and the Radiant Education Foundation are partnering for the fourth consecutive year to offer the "Light of Radiant Scholarship," the only scholarship in Taiwan specifically for children with ADHD. Applications for the 2024 Light of Radiant Scholarship will officially open in September.

Since its inception in 2021, the scholarship has accumulated over NT$300,000 in awards, highlighting the achievements and potential of more than 100 children with ADHD and providing support to over 45 individuals. The Light of Radiant Scholarship aims to see how parents encourage, support, guide, and participate in discovering their children's unique strengths. This process of nurturing these strengths represents the most intimate journey between children and parents, and it is a process the foundation deeply cherishes.

Recognizing the need for ADHD resources in southern Taiwan, Radiant has collaborated with Dr. Chen Chin-hung of the Taiwan Center for ADHD Family Care Association, established in Chiayi. Since 2018, Radiant has been organizing ADHD parenting seminars under the "Radiant Heartfelt Lectures" series. Since 2019, the company has invited ADHD children and their families to participate in the Radiant Family Day, and from 2021 to 2024, it has hosted the Light of Radiant Scholarship Program. The program focuses on recognizing the strengths of children with ADHD through collaboration with professional organizations and special education teachers, including the Taiwan Center for ADHD Family Care Association, Professor Lin Yu-chih from Pingtung University, Professor Lin Chien-yu from Tainan University, and instructor Li Bing-hsuan from the Self-Made Learners Association.

Radiant combines corporate resources with various professional inputs to advance ADHD-related issues in southern Taiwan. The company also encourages its employees and their families to participate in volunteer activities, embedding the spirit of philanthropy into its corporate DNA and demonstrating its impact on social responsibility.
