Radiant Education Foundation is located in Kaohsiung Qianzhen Technology Industrial Park. In recent years, it has made great efforts to promote environmental education and focused on "ocean issues." Since 2022, it has cooperated with the Kaohsiung City Dandelion Reading Promotion Association and its non-profit bookstore " Little House Bookstore " "Ocean picture books" as the main theme, a picture book knowledge workshop specially provided for preschool teachers. Teachers are encouraged to participate in the theme of picture books combined with ocean protection. A total of 16 ocean sustainable picture books were selected, covering "happy ocean, About the three major categories of "Ocean and Biodiversity", we hope to bring the spirit of love for the sea back to school, share it with children through diversified teaching extension courses, and jointly practice love for the sea in daily life, thereby creating a ripple effect of love for the sea, so that The sea will hopefully remain blue.



This year, the Marine Picture Book Knowledge Workshop entered its second year. The course design responded to the recent important international issue "Marine Biodiversity". A total of 27 kindergartens and 45 teachers from the Kaohsiung and Pingtung area participated in the training, and then entered the school to promote 27 diverse topics. Aihai Action has been integrated into various activities in school-age education and has reached more than 2,000 people by going into the community, teaching together with young and old, and reading together with families.


The foundation encourages and recognizes the selflessness and hard work of preschool teachers in carrying out the Love the Sea Action. This year, together with professional judges, four optimal plans were selected.

The foundation will continue to promote marine environmental education through the "Sea you Again Love the Sea Infinite Action Plan", cultivate the seeds of love for the sea in a variety of ways and let the literacy of sea love bloom everywhere. It is also expected to cooperate with outstanding picture book writers starting from 2024. This picture book has the characteristics of the local ocean in the south. I look forward to introducing the different aspects of the ocean to everyone. I look forward to the near future, because we are close to the sea, love the sea and cherish the sea, so that the sea that nurtures and nourishes us will continue to be blue.
