We expect to create opportunities for school-children to engage in diversified learning and to eliminate the imbalance of educational resources between rural and urban areas. Through our long-term cooperation with the Program the World Association (PTWA), we aim to create a learning environment with equal rights in education for school-children by means of companionship and guidance.

Take root program education, jump to see hometown

In recent years, the Company has continued to cooperate with the Program the World Association (hereinafter referred to as PTWA), which was established by Professor Su,Wen-Yu of the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering (CSIE) at National Cheng Kung University. Following The footsteps of PTWA, The company has jointly promoted and cooperated with "PTW (Program The World) Program" and "Seeing Hometown Program". Since 2017, focusing on the elementary and middle schools in Pengdong, Kaoping, through PTWA's evaluation and communication, the Foundation and volunteers have so far visited schools including Chi-Mei Junior High School and Cimei Primary School in Penghu, the Zuojhen Junior High School and Zuojhen Elementary School in Tainan, the Binmao Middle School in Taitung, the Maolin Elementary School in Kaohsiung, the Pingtung Bai Sha Primary School, and the Kaohsiung Municipal Guyan Primary School.

The "PTW Program" aims to bring programming education to rural school areas lacking of educational resources (or schools with weak teaching resources) to teach children how to write programming, since learning programming is the beginning of developing logic, and programming is an industry where you can start your own business, regardless of the region. The Program is expected to enable the children in the remote areas and in the mountains to write programs through accompanying teaching and long-term planning, and to guide and accompany the children to learn progressively.

Through professional leadership and teaching, from script writing to shooting skills, "Seeing Hometown Program" aims to have children team up to make documentaries for their hometown, with the ultimate goal to enable children to choose their own sky instead of leaving them in their hometown, and with the ability built by the Program, leaving a mark of hometown in their hearts as a place that everyone will want to stay. One day, the child will come back.
