In the face of the waves of the pandemic storm caused by COVID-19, ROE called on our partners in the plants to implement proper epidemic prevention measures, and to donate blood in a timely manner. We take actions to respond to the charity blood donation event entitled "Epidemic Prevention and Green Lifestyles". We have held this event for 11 consecutive years as a regular grand event in the Kaohsiung Export Processing Zone. We hope to enhance the relationship between enterprises in this zone through this event, thereby fulfilling our corporate social responsibilities together. The blood to be donated this year is expected to exceed 820,000 c.c. We would like to express our sincere gratitude toward the guidance of the Kaohsiung Export Processing Zone, Export Processing Zone Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Public Health Center (Kaohsiung Municipal Min-Sheng Hospital), as well as to Emerging Display Technologies Corp., Nitto Denko (Taiwan) Corporation, and Mitsui High-tec (Taiwan) Co., Ltd. for joining together to respond to charity!

ROE’s blood donation event is based on the concepts of a friendly environment and green lifestyles. With epidemic prevention necessities as the gift for this blood donation event, we have adhered to the principles of green procurement and “made in Taiwan (MIT)". Meanwhile, we have purchased “Huanyu Courage Corn” from Fengshan to multiply the charity and goodwill. All participating employees will be given several sticks of raw corn from the life fighter Huanyu. In addition to the charity event this time, we will launch the "Exchange of Waste Batteries for Green Plants" activity. Anyone who recycles waste batteries at the blood donation site can bring home a green plant as a move to respond to the green lifestyles. We have striven to incorporate environmental protection issues into the blood donation event and to implement them in the plants. We look forward to connecting everyone to contribute to community care and environmental education through this blood donation event.

Considering the importance of charity, ROE established the Radiant Education Foundation in the following year after the company’s 20th anniversary in 2016. The foundation has been devoted to rural programming education, ADHD care lectures and parent-child activities, plastic reduction and beach cleanup, as well as cultivation of local cultural and artistic troupes. We aim to leverage our influence as a business, fulfill corporate social responsibility, and to establish closer connections with all sectors of society to achieve a better future through the operation of the foundation.
